Vintage artist box, wooden storage box, rustic jewelry box
A rustic looking vintage wooden case dating ca 1920-1940's. In a beautiful glowing solid wood, held together by nails. It has been used as a artist box by a man who liked to build and paint model airplanes and the tell-tale paint stains are there. The solid little handle on top is nearly a tough as the loud snap from the solidly working clasp up front. The inside was painted white, but again, there are plenty of paint stains.
This box could have so many uses - it could be used again as a painter or artist box (you could fit a fair few copic markers in here), but why not have it as a jewelry box, tackle box or even as a lunch box?
****The last photo is to show how this item was found - the paints will be considered hazardous materials by the shipping company I use and won't be included in the sale of this item.****
Condition: solid with paint stains - see images. The side of the little 'shelf' slides out easy enough, it seems the bottom has been glued down (might come out with some persuasion)
Size: 8-3/4 x 6-1/2 x 6 inches
inside space 7-5/8 x 5-3/4 x 5-1/4 inches
Weight: just over 1 kg
