Art nouveau vase with buttercup design, Royal Austria
A small art nouveau vase by Oscar & Edgar Gutherz - O&EG - the hand painted buttercup design in typical swirls and whiplash patterns. Dating ca 1890-1910, it could also be considered parts of the Arts and Crafts movement. Marked underneath for O&EG, Royal Austria in a green wreath, vase shape number 1669, designer MMJ or MMF. A beautiful antique vase that will make for an elegant piece of home decor. In perfect vintage condition - no chips, scratches, cracks or repairs.
