1930s Ribbon Bow brooch, paste brooch with dangle
A sweet clear paste and white metal brooch in shape of a bow. It has a little blue stone in the centre and a small dangle underneath. All stones are accounted for. The back is unmarked for a maker and it closes with a roll-top clasp. The clasp is in good order. Women and girls have historically worn bows on their clothes and in their hair as a sign of femininity. They symbolise femininity, remembrance, strength, love, beauty and union. This would make a great gift for your girlfriend, wife or mum. Size: 1-1/2 x 1 inches
