Victorian eyeglasses, gold toned oval glasses frame

  • $5000 CAD

Great pair of antique glasses, these yellow metal (brass?) rimmed spectacles come with super thin bendy wire legs. Simply ask your optician the replace the lenses! Metal wire frame glasses have always remained popular vintage eye wear, even though these date to the late 19th - early 20th Century. They would make a great photography or theatre prop, or could be used to finish off that costume. The inside of the nose bridge is marked S.P.A. The metal is possibly a brass or brass alloy.
