Victorian Mauchline ware treen tower coin bank
A gorgeous patinated Victorian treen coin bank in shape of a tower. Originally this piece of Scottish Mauchline ware would have had an oval depiction of a tourist destination on its side. Today only a tiny fragment on the edge remains. Perhaps the previous owner was not a fan! The top of the tower comes off to access the coins in the piggy bank.
Condition: with a few stains which may come off. I have not touched this item in any way. There are 2 chips on the inside rim of the tower (pictured) which are not visible when the bank is closed up. Beautiful wear to the wood and a glow you only get with real antiques.
Size: 3.5 inches tall - 2-7/8 inches across on the base
