Vintage photograph signed by Bruno of Hollywood NYC, Bruno Bernard bombshell portrait of burlesque star Julie Bryan, pin-up vamp starlet
A great image of Burlesque star Julie Bryan, by Bruno of Hollywood (signed in ink). This is an original period photograph (not a copy or digital printout), with signs of age and some damages but overall still a stunner! There is some discoloration, a small tear on the left hand top and creasing to the corners. This is a nice heavy photographic paper so there are not too many handling marks in the central image.
Bruno Bernard (February 2, 1912 – June 3, 1987) was also known as Bernard of Hollywood. He was an American photographer best known for pin-up and glamour photography of Marilyn Monroe and others.
This image would date from the 1930's or 1940's and was likely to have been used as a promotional image for Julie Bryan or the show she featured in. It would look amazing when framed!
Paper size: 28 x 35.4 (the image a little smaller)
