White enamelware tea kettle with rainbow stripes ca 1970s
A sturdy white enamel tea kettle, ca 1970's, possibly by M. Kamenstein, Japan but unmarked for a maker. This would make a lovely piece of kitchen decor or a great housewarming gift for that hard-to-shop-for couple. The handle and top finial are wood and the sides have been subtly decorated with rainbow coloured banding. This kettle is in decent condition with marks of age and use on the inside, underside and around the spout (see images). There is a bit of chipping to the enamel on the spout and some light scratches to the coloured bands. The wood with some spottiness - it could use a bit of oil. The handle handily folds all the way to the side.
Size: 6.5 inches diameter (without the spout) and 5 inches tall to the lid (without the finial or handle)
